- Do you have a Showroom?
Answer - We have a virtual showroom rather than a physical
showroom. Physical showrooms or high street forecourts bring enormous
overheads and simply lead to higher prices to cover these premise
costs. Your local car dealership or franchised dealer may have
the most beautiful showroom and facilities, however you can be
assured the car prices will most definitely reflect the investment
in the premises and facilities. Our virtual showroom has much
lower overheads and therefore we are able to offer our customers
better value for money. We do have a vehicle compound where you
can come and view the car you would like to buy which is a much
more cost effective way of presenting our cars. All you need to
do is contact us and we can arrange an appointment for you to
come over to us to see the car you are interested in.
Question - Will I be insured during a test drive?
Answer - Yes. Our insurance cover is valid for demonstration
purposes including customer test drives. Please bring your driving
license with you if you plan to test drive a vehicle.
Question - Can I test drive a car without valid road tax?
Answer - Yes. We have trade plates which allow a car without
road tax to be driven and demonstrated to a prospective purchaser.
Question - Where are you located?
Answer - UKCARSTORE is located near Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire
approximately 10 minutes drive from junction 18 of the M25 or
close to Rickmansworth or Croxley Metropolitan underground tube
stations. Watford Junction is the nearest mainline train station
while Heathrow and Luton airports are close by too. Simply contact
us to make an appointment to come and view the car you are interested
in.
Question - How can I pay?
Answer - UKCARSTORE has Chip and Pin Debit / Credit Card
facilities. Our preferred method of payment is Debit Card - Payment
by Debit Card is both instant and free meaning you can drive the
car away there and then. This is also the most secure method of
payment for both buyer and seller. Any payments by credit card
will incur an additional charge to cover the increased processing
costs associated with credit card payments. If customers prefer
to pay by cash (up to £9,000) or by direct transfer to our bank
account then we also accept payments by these methods.
Question - Can I secure a car unseen?
Answer - Yes, and because of our detailed vehicle descriptions
many people do. After all if you know that we have the car for
you why take a chance that it is still for sale by the time you
can get over to see us. If you would like to secure a vehicle
we will take a deposit via a debit card over the telephone. We
will take the vehicle off sale and then you simply pay the balance
when you collect the car. The deposit you pay is non-refundable
except in the extremely unlikely event that you come to collect
the vehicle and it is different from the details in our virtual
showroom.
Question - The car I want to purchase is untaxed, can you tax
it for me before I collect?
Answer - Yes however you will need to provide us with an
original insurance document valid from the day before collection.
The simplest way to do this is to use the driveaway
insurance service from Aviva which means we will have the
necessary documentation to obtain road tax. The taxing and registration
process is irreversible and therefore we may ask for a larger
deposit in cases where we are taxing the car for you before you
have come to see us.
Question - Do you offer part exchange facilities?
Answer - Yes. Please see our part exchange page.
Question - Do you offer finance?
Answer - No. We recommend that you research carefully the
funding options available to you for your car. The internet and
especially various price comparison websites will ensure you get
the best possible value for money based on your circumstances
and will usually save you considerable amounts money compared
to taking finance offered by a dealer.
